I am an Assistant Teaching Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington. Prior to teaching, I worked at Toray Composites for 7 years. There I led R&D projects and developed expertise in aerospace structural composites engineering.
My R&D experience included resin formulation, recycling, high-temperature toughening, manufacturing systems, carbon fiber interface design, and new material development, and others. I bring my unique perspective on commercial science and engineering challenges to the classroom.
I am also available for consulting services:
Technical Expertise
Aerospace structural composites engineering
Structural thermoset and thermoplastic composite materials
Composites manufacturing
Nano and interfacial science
